Hinkley Antiques is a small professional business run by Robert Hinkley, actively involved in the U.K. antiques trade for the past 30 years. My passion for antique furniture began at the age of 14, leading to a traditional 6 year apprenticeship – trained under master craftsmen from the historic “Collins Antiques” of Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire.

Launching Hinkley Antiques over 17 years ago, working within the U.K. antiques trade is very much a “way of life”.

For over a decade, gained vast experience working alongside Peter Jones ( Antique Department ) Sloane Sq London, selling and restoring fine quality English furniture.

I now exhibit at a number of U.K Antiques Fairs through-out the year and trade from a large antiques centre @ Chesapeake Mill PO17 5JH, in the popular historic market town of Wickham in the Heart of Hampshire.

I have specialist restoration and upholstery workshops on the upper reaches of the river Hamble in Swanwick Hampshire SO31 7GZ.

Hinkley Antiques always aims to provide an excellent service which caters for your individual need, whilst also ensuring the authenticity an quality of articles shown on this site .

My “word of mouth” client base is testimony to this and we always work closely along-side our world-wide trade and private clientele.

I am dealing in good quality English furniture from; 16th century country regional to Georgian, classical Regency and William 1V town furniture. Arts & Crafts design alongside upholstered seating from Georgian and Victorian periods – wing armchairs, club chairs, ottomans, stools, chaise lounges and sofas, to mirrors and shelves for hanging of walls.

ORIGINALITY – DESIGN – COLOUR and PATINATION
